When things feel out of control, we get scared and try even harder to control the uncontrollable. The reality is that most things are out of our control, and the illusion of control is limiting our experience of joy. Allow what is to just be. Differentiate between what is within your control and what isn’t, and stop wasting time and energy on something you can’t change.
Worry and stress don’t lead to solutions. They lead only to more worry and stress. This cycle is our doom. Break free of this pattern by taking a big step back. Look at the situation, accept what you can’t control, change what you can, and get on with your day.
